For me, electronic accessories that are assigned to fashion in the traditional sense belong, such as Jewellery, also for e-couture, I call it acessoires: Eccessoires.

What have I created so far in this area:

Eccessoires: with the advent of LEDs in the 1970s, I enjoyed putting a red LED on wafer-thin, skin-coloured strands deep into my ear as a teenager to magically glow red from my ear. So I often walked through the area in the evening and went to discos and youth clubs.

In the meantime, the Eccessoires from me are much more elaborate. One (2016) is Heart2Heart. This is a small transmitting unit that transmits the pulse of the carrier (transmitter) via radio (Bluetooth) to a second small receiving unit (receiver) in a medallion. The medallion worn by the receiver on a necklace vibrates in the pulse rate of the transmitter.

Another is Percept-D. This is an ultrasonic unit that is attached to the body and reports vibration-moving and unmoving obstacles at the adjustable distance (AURA). This can be used to create a vibration on the back when someone approaches from behind or to report obstacles left and right by wristband left and right or in sleeves on the shoulder.


the stimulation must have come from blockzero.se, even if not consciously, they did not take a firm distance at "EchoTech" but pulse the closer the obstacle. It's interesting, but I've noticed in my attempts that it's better to get few signals so that the sensor/actuator doesn't bother.

I would like to

1) Night vision or touch environments allow the sensor/sensors to pulse stronger/weaker according to distance as in EchoTech, but use only 1 piece as a guide. Why? Because, as EchoTech has shown, the sensors do not look down and thus do not prevent collison with the feet or possibly even with the head. The sensor view to the rear makes no sense for orientation. I think the system should be carried like a flashlight in your hand. This was the result of my project "THE BAT".

2) However, personal protection can only generate the tactile warning if a limit value is exceeded. Then, for example, a flash or warning signal in the direction of the attacker are triggered or camera are turned on, or neck brace goes up etc.)

Another ecessoire is: B-glow, a passive luminous object. Portable like a brooch, it is designed for the suit. It has a lighthouse appearance, two blue rays emit to opposite sides.


Here the printed end caps, you need 2 times, from the inside the 5mm LED is inserted, the aperture prevents light from leaking upwards

Here the centerpiece with two recesses, one as a cable passage and one as a holder for the neodymium magnet with the B-glow is attached to the lapel.

My 3D printer is reaching its limits because the parts are very small. This is even better if I continue to optimize the settings. Currently, the three parts are printed in PLA with 0.25mm layer thickness. On the back of the button cell holder is a counter magnet, which becomes even flatter.

Then I first improved the 3D printing quality and provided the battery holder with a switch. Is more practical than removing the battery….

As a next improvement, I found a new button cell housing with on/off button.

Now the holding magnet is installed internally and it looks smarter:
